In a major Medical Freedom Victory for Dr. Paul Marik and co-plaintiffs in lawsuit against FDA, the FDA announced March 22, 2024 in a “Stipulation of Settlement” with the plaintiffs, it was rescinding all of its warnings about the use of Ivermectin to treat COVID-19 in exchange for the plaintiffs agreeing to drop the lawsuit. Read more at this link for the “Stipulation of Settlement:” In exchange for the plaintiffs agreeing to dismiss their case against the FDA, the FDA has agreed to the following conditions that included removal of ALL negative social media and website posts about Ivermectin.
The Judge for the 5th Circuit Court in his ruling stated unequivocally “The FDA is not a doctor!” and that the FDA exceeded its regulatory authority in preventing physicians from prescribing Ivermectin, which had been FDA-approved for use in people decades ago. The FDA actually LIED to the public claiming ivermectin was not approved for humans, only for a “horse de-wormer” – which is flagrantly false. Bottom line: FDA Lied, and people died being denied Ivermectin, a highly effective medicine against COVID-19.
What most of the public did not know, but I had written several editorials about beginning in March 2020, is that in order to get the Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for the experimental gene therapy COVID shots, the FDA, CDC, NIH, HHS and “Big medicine” orchestrated the suppression of all effective early COVID treatment medicines because under FDA regulations an EUA cannot be issued for a new treatment if there are already existing treatments. That is why there was such a coordinated attack on the more that 20 medicines and many nutraceuticals that could have been used to treat COVID-19 illness early and at home with remarkable success. These older medicines were used successfully by many of us front-line physicians, often at great personal and professional risks standing up against the government false narrative.
Ivermectin was discovered as a molecule in the soil in Japan generated by bacteria, as a gift from nature, not created by “Big Pharma” in a laboratory! It is safe, with few side effects, and cheap. Ivermectin is also off-patent because it has been in use for so many years, so it doesn’t make much money for “Big Pharma” – another reason for the attempts to prevent its use.

- did not prevent COVID illness as the government claimed
- did not prevent the spread of COVID as the government claimed
- did not prevent hospitalizations with COVID
- and did contribute to higher risk of getting COVID.
Kudos to the leadership, courage, and persistence of Dr. Paul Marik, Dr. Mary Talley Bowden, and Dr. Robert Apter for filing the lawsuit against the FDA and HHS for their lies and false warnings about Ivermectin safety and effectiveness in treating COVID-19.
