Larry Holm brings the unique perspective of a man whose own father, believing that the US military could do no wrong, ‘volunteered’ Larry to serve in military medical experiments overseen by Operation Paperclip scientists shortly after his birth. These experiments on children took place on different military bases over a number of years, long before the mind manipulation program known as MK Ultra. As Larry shared with us, “God saved me many times from death at their hands, then wove my life through the threads of Paperclip’s minds and their minions and their malevolence as Operation Paperclip grew into today’s philosophies and institutions.”
Larry’s presentation explores as both a historical turning point and, in his view, the foundation of a broader modern era he describes as the “Great Poisoning.” Drawing from his personal experiences and his years of research, he outlines how former Nazi scientists were integrated into U.S. military, medical, and technological programs after World War II, influencing developments in aerospace, medicine, and defense while raising enduring ethical concerns.
