The US Government has become increasingly weaponized against those who risks careers and livelihoods to do the right thing to protect the public. While this persecution of whistleblowers has skyrocketed under the Biden Administration, it has been going on under the cloak of secrecy since at least 2001 following the 9/11 Attacks.
Today’s Whistleblower Report is the story of two commercial airline pilots who tried to warn government officials and the airlines – specifically United and American—of dangers to the flying public as a result of serious safety violations following the 9/11 attacks and during COVID. Both Captain Saliba and Capt. Hanley have been persecuted, threatened, silenced and removed from flight status for speaking out about dangers to the public. They have each experienced devastating damage to their aviation careers.
Captain Bahig Saliba legally immigrated to the US in 1984 from war-torn Lebanon a year after the bombing of the US Marine barracks in Beirut. He worked as a flight instructor until becoming a pilot with American Airlines more than 25 years ago. The dangers of the COVID mandates for pilots and airline crews quickly became the focus of his warnings to senior management as well as the FAA – only to result in him being removed from duty. He is now suing American Airlines as a Pro Se litigant, and his case is currently at the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.
Captain Dan Hanley served in the US navy as a fighter pilot for 10 years and then for 25 years at United Airlines as a commercial pilot. As a United Airlines Boeing 777 captain, Capt. Hanley was illegally terminated from United Airlines in violation of RICO statutes (racketeering influenced corrupt organization) for speaking out about 9/11-related safety and security issues through collusion between United Airlines senior management and the Federal Aviation Administration. He fought his wrongful termination case for five years with every relevant level and branch of the US government to no avail. His case was closed without reviewing the tiniest shred of his evidence nor interviewing his many witnesses. The loss of his career and destruction of his reputation cost him his family and relationship with his children.
The cover-up of safety issues Capt. Hanley worked so hard to warn the FAA and United Airlines about led him to found a global grassroots effort called 9/11 Pilot Whistleblowers (www.911pilots.org, YouTube channel 911pilots), for which he currently serves as director and international public spokesperson. Over a 35-year aviation career span Cap. Hanley flew 15 different aircraft accruing 20,000 flight hours. With all his flight experience, Capt. Hanley has unequivocally stated that even as highly trained and experienced a pilot as he was, he could not have flown the 9/11 flight profiles that led to the damage we saw. His unequivocal professional opinion is that neither could the unqualified alleged Muslim hijackers.
The purpose of 911 Pilot Whistleblowers organization is to show that there were no Muslim hijackers controlling the 9/11 aircraft but that the aircraft were electronically hijacked and remotely controlled through employment of a system called the uninterruptible autopilot that takes complete control of the aircraft autopilot and flight management computer and flies the aircraft to its target destination. Once engaged, the pilots cannot disconnect this system and are trapped with no ability to override and control the airplane. Captain Hanley plans to return to The Whistleblower Report to explain this technology in a future program. He currently resides in Islamabad, Pakistan with his Pakistani bride where they have lived happily for 14 years.
