The battle for the sanctity of life rages on in America. After the 1973 Roe v. Wade SCOTUS decision was finally over-turned in June 2022, the fight between Pro-Abortion and Pro-Life movements moved to the individual states for their decisions on the future of abortion on demand. Like no other time in this country’s history has there been such an opportunity to express one’s Christian belief in the sanctity of life by standing in support of a baby’s right to life.
Jesus Christ had a special place in His heart for children and Christ followers should emulate His example of love and protection for children. In Mathew 18: 5-7 Christ warns: 6 “But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea. 7 Woe to the world because of [a]offenses! For offenses must come, but woe to that man by whom the offense comes!” NKJV
Did our country’s massive child sacrifice in the millions of babies aborted since 1970 bring a curse on our land? After all, America has murdered an estimated 65-70 million children under the deception that abortion is “women’s health.”
Author Jonathan Cahn in his latest book, The Josiah Manifesto, presents an interesting discussion about the Biblical meaning a Jubilee year and how that connects with the 50th or Jubilee year of the passage the US law that allowed abortion on demand in America. What does the term “Jubilee” mean in its historical Biblical context?FromChristianity.com: “The Year of Jubilee, which came every 50th year, was a year full of releasing people from their debts, releasing all slaves, and returning property to those who owned it.” (Leviticus 25:1-13). In The Josiah Manifesto, Cahn further explains that Biblically a Jubilee has a dual aspect: on one side it is the time of retribution (or paying back of debt), bringing justice and judgement. On the other side, a Jubilee it is a time of restitution, restoration and redemption. Jonathan Cahn presents the Biblical symbolic link between the events of 1970, when the first US state passed an abortion law, and the 2020 COVID plaque that caused so much death across America. 2020 was the 50-year Jubilee of abortion since the Roe vs Wade case was filed in March 1970 and the lockdowns in America by the Covid plague occurred in March 2020, 50 years to the month. As Cahn explains, in this abortion Jubilee, the lives lost in abortion are repaid with lives lost of in the COVID plague. He provides extensive documentation from the Hebrew and Judaic scriptures to show how these connections are symbolically so critical, and clearly show the hand of God at work since the events he presents are far byond the realm of mere coincidence.
