This 2014 China issued patent is for the human use of pure chlorine dioxide solution intravenously to treat Ebola. Ebola is a hemorrhagic fever that predominantly effects populations in South Africa. It is identified in this patent that the twice-yearly use of intravenous chlorine dioxide will also serve as a prophylaxis against cancer.
