In May 2021, I was appalled with all of the horrifying data emerging rapidly about the risks and damage from experimental COVID shots, and shocked seeing my own, formerly healthy and medically stable patients who got the COVID shot start to have sudden onset of Atrial fib, mental confusion, strokes, and other complications, I cried out to God for what I could do to be more effective at warning people about these risks when our public health officials and government agencies were clearly covering up the damage and deceiving the public.
It was then I heard God speak to me, as if He were in the room with me: “Lee, you have the Foundation. Activate it. THIS is the time.” I thought of the scripture I had read years earlier: Habakkuk 2:2-3 and Isaiah 6:8. I realized the vision God gave me for this Foundation my husband and I started in May of 2007 (and then sadly inactivated in the economic crash of 2008), had not been meant for that time, but for God’s time to come, and I had needed to wait these 14 years for HIS time in 2021 when the need (and my own growth in medical knowledge, wisdom, patience, and faith) was greater!
This encounter with God May 3, 2021 spurred me to the action that has guided all of my work every day since to reactivate and develop Truth for Health Foundation on that momentous day and it was that encounter that has brought us to this anniversary of four years of non-stop work for the Lord’s mission of saving lives across America and the world, defending human and civil rights secured by our God-inspired Constitution, Declaration of Independence, and Bill of Rights; exposing the evil assault on life –human, animal, plants, birds and bees and insects, and the very life of the planet’s environment itself; providing a platform for our
persecuted military service members, and helping to restore health and resilience for people and our planet.
We celebrate another MAJOR SUCCESS with an effort that TFH began in 2021! Thanks to our dedicated Truth Warriors and donors, one of our first three TFH legal grant recipients, former Army Preventive Medicine Officer, Lt Mark Bashaw Pardon, has just been awarded a full Presidential Pardon on May 28, 2025 after four hard years of persecution, wrongful Court Martial and termination from the military. We are grateful for our TFH donors who helped us provide the legal defense grants for his legal representation during this terrible ordeal. Congratulations to Lt. Lt. Bashaw called to tell me the fantastic news on the evening he had the call about his pardon. He said “During the most difficult season of my military service—facing court-martial for refusing unlawful mandates—Truth for Health Foundation stood firmly beside me. Under the leadership of Dr. Lee Vliet, I was honored to serve as a Military Advisor, supporting national-level risk communication rooted in medical ethics, lawful governance, and faith. Their mission provided both strength and clarity at a time when truth was under assault and lawful dissent was treated as a threat. Through the Foundation’s Legal Defense Grant and the generosity of its donors, I received the civilian legal support necessary to defend my name, my oath, and the Constitution I swore to uphold. Let’s look more closely at this scripture:
“Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying:” This phrase indicates a direct encounter with God, a theophany, which is a significant moment in biblical narratives. Isaiah’s experience is similar to other prophetic callings, such as Moses at the burning bush (Exodus 3) and Samuel hearing God’s voice (1 Samuel 3). The voice of the Lord signifies divine authority and the initiation of a prophetic mission. Have you had similar experiences?
“Whom shall I send? The question posed by God highlights the divine initiative in calling and sending prophets. It reflects God’s sovereign choice in selecting His messengers. This echoes the calling of other prophets and leaders, such as Jeremiah (Jeremiah 1:5) and the apostles in the New Testament (Matthew 28:19-20).
“Who will go for Us?” The plural “Us” can be seen as a reference to the divine council or the Trinity, suggesting a complex unity within the Godhead. This aligns with Genesis 1:26, “Let Us make man in Our image,” and can be interpreted as an early hint of the Trinitarian nature of God, which is more fully revealed in the New Testament.
“And I said:” Isaiah’s response is immediate and personal, indicating his readiness and willingness to serve. This reflects the proper response to God’s call, characterized by obedience and submission. It parallels the responses of other biblical figures who were called by God, such as Abraham (Genesis 12:1-4) and Mary (Luke 1:38). Has God called YOU for His work? Did you listen and follow?
“Here am I.” This declaration signifies Isaiah’s availability and readiness to be used by God. It is an expression of humility and willingness, similar to Samuel’s response to God’s call (1 Samuel 3:10). It underscores the importance of being present and attentive to God’s voice.
“Send me!” Isaiah’s willingness to be sent highlights the theme of mission and service in the prophetic tradition. This anticipates the Great Commission in the New Testament, where Jesus sends His disciples into the world (Matthew 28:19-20). Isaiah’s readiness to be sent foreshadows the ultimate sending of Jesus Christ, who was sent by the Father to fulfill His redemptive mission (John 3:16-17).
Willingness to serve is a fundamental Christian virtue characterized by a readiness and eagerness to assist others and fulfill God’s purposes. It reflects a heart aligned with God’s will, demonstrating humility, love, and obedience. This willingness is not merely about performing tasks but embodies a servant’s heart, mirroring the example set by Jesus Christ. Will you serve Him?
