The persecution of unvaccinated military service members, especially those who applied for religious accommodations, has continued unabated throughout 2021, 2022, and 2023. With more than 10,000 involuntary terminations, over 100,000 early retirements, and many thousands those who did not re-enlist, America has lost nearly 200,000 highly experienced military service members across all branches and all occupational specialties –including fighter pilots and special forces operators, senior level commanders, and many other specialists.
Today’s Whistleblower Report is the story of two courageous Military service members of faith who stood firm In defending their religious freedom and their Oath to the US Constitution instead of complying with an unlawful order for an experimental COVID injection that alters God’s design of our human genome. Heather Sands Correll was a Senior Chief in the USCG abruptly forced out of the Coast Guard Reserves into inactive status with no pay and no benefits, just short of 20 years’ service because she refused to get the experimental COVID shot or advise the enlisted service members under her command to do so. Chaplain Chad Booth, Captain in the US Army with nearly 17 years’ service, lost his Chaplain position and was kept in limbo in his career and prevented from moving to his next duty station because he also refused the COVID injection standing on his faith conviction that God had directed him not to take it. Both Heather and Chad described this time in their careers as being in “purgatory.”
How did they each face this loss and cope with the threats to their medical and religious freedom after having served so many years defending those freedoms for all of us? How did they come to terms with the difficult question: why do bad things happen to good people? How did they overcome bitterness to reach a point of forgiveness for those who had harmed their careers, maligned their good names, and cost them income and career advancement?
All of us will face some kind of loss in life at some point. The bottom line is that we each have to learn that in our sailboat of our life, we cannot control the wind, but we can adjust and trim the sails to continue our journey.
For each of us, the circumstances we face are not as important as what we do with those circumstances. In coming to the end of ourselves, we can come to the beginning of a new life.
