Dr. Hatfill has a background in military special operations, training in emergency tropical medicine, and pathology. After serving as an over-winter physician in Antarctica he obtained separate Master&#8217;s Degrees in Microbial Genetics, Radiation Biochemistry, and Hematological Pathology. He has 16 published research papers in leading peer reviewed journals. In 1975 he was awarded the US Army Parachute Wings, and in 1979 the Rhodesian Army Defense Medal. Dr. Hatfill worked at Army Bioweapons Research Facility in Fort Detrick, Maryland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The topic of discussion in this three part interview series is Hemorrhagic Fevers in the context of weaponized pathogens.
